I know it’s stupid, but there’s something about animals doing “human things” that always brings a smile to my face. The talking animals in Dr. Doolittle crack me up for hours. Animals with tattoos would be awesome, but something tells me there would be a ton of poor bull dogs with horrible tramp stamps being walked around Los Angeles. Besides the great artwork, the neckline on girls cut of Alternate Decision Clothing‘s “Giraffe.” compliments the Catsneeze design nicely. You can find this and other items from their Late Summer 2012 release in the Alternate Decision shop.

I’m disappointed I’m just discovering Knife Fight, as I would have purchased the snapback hat they had in their last release. Their latest “Armed” t shirt is pretty sweet. The thick, black lines make the design look as though it was painted with a sumi brush. One lucky, random order of this shirt placed this weekend in their online store will also receive the “Flannel Logo” t shirt for free.

I don’t have any tattoos. It’s not that I am unwilling to make the commitment. For a long time I was unable to find artwork that I was really drawn to and ready to bear for my entire lifetime. I was also skeptical that there would be an artist in my area that could maintain the beauty and quality of that artwork when transferring it to my skin. Henry Hablak came into the print shop I work at to get prints made of his flash paintings. I was immediately blown away by his skills. His ability to flawlessly replicate his paintings on the body is incredible – just look at the application of the gypsy in the picture above. Check out his blog, Hardworkingclass, for more pictures of his work.
